Callisto Riddle is a poetic folk singer-songwriter from the Tri-Cities. Whether performing originals or the songs that inspired them, Callisto’s music hits with intention and coherence, creating a sound that delivers sobering authenticity. When they’re not pulling heartstrings with a single voice, Callisto plays an integral part in the local grunge-punk trio Trotting Roux, channeling the same emotional force that drives their songwriting into guttural screams and high-energy performances, deeply contrasting their solo work. That same passion carries into their efforts in the Tri-Cities music community, where they host weekly open mics at the Emerald of Siam and organize punk and folk shows at local venues and DIY spaces.
