Gregory Rawlins was born in lush and rainy Port Orchard, Washington, and when he wasn't building forts or popping wheelies he was marveling at the beauty of the natural world. Rawlins began writing and performing his homespun songs in the mid-2000s and hasn't looked back, recording 15 full-length albums—including Pale Marble Movie and Ma –two drastically different albums, both released this past December 6th. From folk to hard rock to experimental—in bands Sons of Guns, Catskills, Foxgloves, and Cut Hand, nothing seems off the table for exploration. As a soloist, his songs tread through country, blues and folk territory, and are ever supported by keen observations of the human spirit and poetic imagery. His instrumentation moves from jangly Woody Guthrie-like rhythm to delicate, alternate thumb fingerpicking reminiscent of Merle Travis and John Prine. From cafes to alleyways, historic theaters to festival stages, Rawlins and his songs—like old friends and good luck charms—continue to plot their course and gain more of each along the way. 5PM-8PM All Ages. After decades of privately writing songs, in 2018 Talena boldly stepped forward with her debut EP. Her first release was an intimate voice and acoustic guitar record that earned rave reviews from online outlets such as Ear To The Ground and When The Horn The Blows. Since then, Talena has grown artistically through playing shows, and sharing her music in front of live audiences. Her latest release, War Line, finds her incorporating a lusher Americana soundscape into her literate indie-folk. This expanded palette of instrumentation includes ethereal pedal steel, pastoral violin flourishes, and sensitive guitar, bass, and drums interplay. Talena’s latest work recalls the subtle country-tinged beauty of songwriter indie artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Patrick Park, and John Paul White. The 5-song EP was recorded at Rye Room in Portland by studio owner and producer Matt Greco. All ages, free dinner show 6PM-8PM! ARTIST LINK: https://www.talenabricker.com/home

You’ve heard this before, but the whimsically named Jonathan Scales Fourchestra is really tough to describe. Veering from in-your-face, jaw dropping chops and passion, to those quiet moments when the background noise disappears and you hold your breath to take in a soundscape of solitude, the power trio of electric bass (E'Lon JD), drums (Maison Guidry), and steel pans (Jonathan Scales) combines elements of jazz, classical, and progressive rock, peppered with Latin rhythms and soulful outbursts of funk. From club and festival stages across North America and Europe, and tours of Africa, Southeast and Central Asia as a Cultural Ambassador for the US Department of State, to their NPR Tiny Desk Concert featuring Béla Fleck, the Fourchestra’s live shows make even the most jaded listeners forget where they are… even if just for a precious moment. 9 PM - Close $15 Presale $20 at the Door
