Tri-Cities Salsa is a group of musicians who got together to support a Pasco initiative called “Viva la Musica.” The culmination of the project is a collaborative performance in January that requires a live pit band for salsa, cumbia, and other Latin genres. These talented folks stepped up to provide live accompaniment while students from Pasco High School, Ochoa and Stevens Middle Schools will provide singing, dancing, and acting in an exciting musical drama which tells a story about Afro Latino influences in popular music through the ages. In addition to supporting “Viva la Musica,” Tri-Cities Salsa has enjoyed providing live music for dancers in Grandview and Prosser and we are looking forward to our first “home” gig at the Emerald of Siam! 9PM-CLOSE All ages until 11PM. $10 Cover.
