General Mojos is a psychedelic rock band from Seattle Washington with over a decade of history in the Northwest, but creating a contemporary sound daily. Composed of four generational talents, Unleashed Entertainment has described them as “the band with no weak link”. The ensemble found their PNW voice within the richly established DIY scene, performing primarily in house shows. While a shimmering psych-pop presence in the music has cemented itself, the band has widened their influences and performances, playing electric shows festivals across the northwest, USA, and internationally. IN 2024 band members were featured in the score and music of Orlando Bloom film ‘Red Right Hand’. 9PM-CLOSE All ages until 11pm!

Come show off your skills, ALL AGES 7PM-8:30PM! Full backline of gear includes drums, bass amp, guitar amp, piano and full PA. GUIDELINES: This competition is open to solo and duo singer-songwriters. Each contestant must be prepared to perform a minimum of two original compositions and two cover songs. All songs must be performed live with an instrument and must include lyrics. The competition will be structured in three stages: a qualifying round, a semi-final round, and a final round. There will be four qualifying rounds held on each Monday throughout April, from 7:00PM to 8:30 PM. During each qualifying round, participants will perform one original song. Three contestants from each round will advance to the semi-finals. An entry fee of $10 is required to participate in a qualifying round. Contestants who are not selected to advance may re-enter the competition on a different Monday in April for a reduced fee of $5. All entry fees will be pooled to fund competition prizes. The semi-final round will take place on May 19th. Contestants who advance from the qualifying rounds will perform one original song and one cover song. The original song may be the same one performed during the qualifiers, though this is not required. Eight contestants will be chosen to move on to the finals. The final round will be held on May 31st. Finalists will perform one original song and one cover song. These selections must be different from any songs previously performed during the qualifying or semi-final rounds. There will be a 1st place winner, a 2nd place winner, and a Judges’ Pick winner. The Judges’ Pick winner will not necessarily be a high-scoring contestant; they will be the performer who left the most impact on the judges. Scoring Criteria: Lyrics: 5 possible points. Musical Composition: 5 possible points. Performance: 5 possible points. Crowd Reaction: 5 possible points.

Talena Bricker

Talena Bricker

Tue, May 20

After decades of privately writing songs, in 2018 Talena boldly stepped forward with her debut EP. Her first release was an intimate voice and acoustic guitar record that earned rave reviews from online outlets such as Ear To The Ground and When The Horn The Blows. Since then, Talena has grown artistically through playing shows, and sharing her music in front of live audiences. Her latest release, War Line, finds her incorporating a lusher Americana soundscape into her literate indie-folk. This expanded palette of instrumentation includes ethereal pedal steel, pastoral violin flourishes, and sensitive guitar, bass, and drums interplay. Talena’s latest work recalls the subtle country-tinged beauty of songwriter indie artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Patrick Park, and John Paul White. The 5-song EP was recorded at Rye Room in Portland by studio owner and producer Matt Greco. All ages, free dinner show 5PM-8PM! ARTIST LINK: https://www.talenabricker.com/home
