Callisto Riddle

Callisto Riddle

Tue, Feb 17

Callisto Riddle is a poetic folk singer-songwriter from the Tri-Cities. Their music moves through bluegrass, punk, acoustic grunge, and traditional folk, shaped by the storytelling of Woody Guthrie and John Prine, the grit of Nirvana and Tom Waits, and the introspection of Billy Bragg and Pat the Bunny. Whether performing originals or the songs that inspired them, Callisto’s music hits with intention and coherence, creating a sound that delivers sobering authenticity. When they’re not pulling heartstrings with a single voice, Callisto plays an integral part in the local grunge-punk trio Trotting Roux, channeling the same emotional force that drives their songwriting into guttural screams and high-energy performances, deeply contrasting their solo work. That same passion carries into their efforts in the Tri-Cities music community, where they host weekly open mics at the Emerald of Siam and organize punk and folk shows at local venues and DIY spaces. Each performance carries vulnerability through melodic poetry, pulling listeners in with lyrics that cut close to the heart, in both a whisper and a howl. 6PM-8PM All Ages. No Cover. Dinner show. Walk ins welcome.
